The focus of October is Stress and Anxiety. Summer is coming to an end and many are enjoying getting back to a regular routine. The kids are back at school. Vacations are winding down. Soon we will enter into the holiday season. For some the holiday season is fun, exciting and exhilarating. For others the holiday season brings a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety. So, for the month of October we will be addressing stress and anxiety with an emphasis on “Being Still” in the hustle and bustle of life. All too often the demands of a life style where we are always on the go often leaves us feeling alone and empty. We will focus our eyes on the cross and be reminded that the love of our Savior serves as our encouragement. We will use His example as our guide to learn how to better encourage each other and the ones we love.
